Curious Destiny:
A Tale of Connection and Adventure
Our founder has always been a passionate trading card enthusiast who loves the Yu-Gi-Oh! Series, and an adventurous traveller at heart. He believes life is too short to stay confined, and we should step out to meet real people, explore the world and take in the beauty of different landscapes.
During a solo trip to Semporna, Malaysia, he had a life-changing experience. He met a girl on a whim and invited her for a couple’s photo shoot. To his surprise, she said yes. What started as a spontaneous gesture turned into something more meaningful, and eventually, he decided to base himself in Malaysia. Semporna’s breathtaking beauty made this magical moment possible, which catalyzed their connection.
Inspired by this, the idea for Curious Destiny was born. The founder wanted to create a platform where others could have similar experiences—a way for people to make meaningful, face-to-face connections in a world increasingly dominated by virtual interactions. He envisioned the Curious Destiny cards as a tool to help spark these real-life encounters.
Over time, the founder crossed paths with two like-minded individuals who shared his vision. These two co-founders, based in Hawaii (USA) and Auckland (New Zealand), shared a common ideology: to build a loving, caring society where people meet in person and contribute to improving the world through charity. Together, they brought Curious Destiny to life.
